Taste of Agriculture was fantastic! Rhonda's Crepes (CrepExpectations) were a hit - she gave samples of her French Crepes, that were filled with Nutella and small pieces of Strawberries, topped a little powdered sugar...mmmmmmmmmm. Our display also looked wonderful (we thought).
Then Wednesday night we had our Coffee-Get Together for any artist who wanted to come; about 10 fabulous people showed up. Most knew one another, others met for the first time. We shared what we did, and exciting up coming events happening around the state that each other were involved in. We expressed our desires to grow Northeast Colorado in art and culture with our own events to promote and lift each other's works up.
We are looking into having the get-together once a month, to get our creative juices flowing.
Thank you to Laurie and her staff at The Daily Grind (in Haxtun) for accommodating us - we love the ambiance of your place!!!!!!
A gypsy soul is a free spirit not confined to one place or stifled by one idea, but passionate about many! We like to encourage other women to join in our restless journey and seek those inner passions

Get-Together
Are you a local artist interested in coming together with other fellow artists and crafters from the community to have the opportunity to put on view and discuss your art?
We would like to invite you to meet at The Daily Grind (in Haxtun) for an open discussion on art, creative crafting and inspirational conversation. Lori (the owner) has kindly reserved her coffee shop on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 5-6:30 p.m.
There are so many different inspiring local artists and crafters in Northeast Colorado. We are in the planning stages of bringing an event “Paris on the Plains” to the area and would like to get together with creative individuals who are interested in bringing a creative culture to this area in the form of themed events. We would like to get together on a monthly or quarterly basis and discuss the possibilities of creating a Northeastern Colorado community of artists and crafters and to stage events such as "Paris on the Plains" in 2013
No need to RSVP, just show up. If you have any questions email us or call Rhonda @ 774-4800
P.S. We have filled our 5 "free" spots for our May 12th event and have additional vendors signed up. The cost is $20.00 to secure a booth space and is non-refundable after April 1st.
