Apple Nachos
4 of your favorite apples
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1/4 cup of GFS Caramel Topping
2 Tablespoons of cream
1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips
1/4 cup of chopped pecans
Fill a medium sized bowl with water and stir in the lemon juice. Cut
up apples and soak them in the lemon water for a few minutes. Make sure
all the apple slices get wet as this will keep them from browning.
Remove them from the water and arrange them in a nice way on a serving
plate.
Place the caramel in a small microwaveable bowl and warm in the
microwave for 30 seconds. Stir in the cream. The caramel should run
evenly off of a spoon. If it doesn’t then heat in the microwave for 10
more seconds.
Drizzle the caramel over the apples. Sprinkle the mini chocolate
chips and the chopped pecans on top as well. Refrigerate until ready to
serve.
